We have received the results from the 31st Northern Counties International Salon of Photogarphy 2010. It is always nice to get images accepted into any exhibition but it is wonderful to get several accepted into an international.

We have received the Great Barr 4th Open Exhibition 2010 results. Again, Don Barker’s unusual style is getting noticed. 2nd place for his wonderful image ‘A Journey’, together with 5 other acceptances. Well done Don. Tony Kinder had 8 accepted, one of which was commended, and I had 5 accepted, one of which was commended. Didn’t we do well! Please see full results below:

Entering external competitions can be very addictive, and Don, William and myself seem to have caught the bug badly. As you will recall quite a few entered Edinburgh last year and not one image from Leek was accepted, and it is known to be difficult to get into. We did not want to be beaten!
